Our 7 year old Solar (mix batch/vintage) barrel aged Saison with Brettanomyces was aged for 6 months with our Golden strong Ale base. It's spiced up with yeast notes and barrel tones and will continue to evolve for 6 to 12 months with a very low 'Super Dry' terminal gravity (0.998) thus making this beer wine like on the palate. If the barrel is the Goose, then this beer is the Golden Egg!

Quite a deviation from our last Bottled-in-Bond 1792 pick. This silky has green apple on the nose with the lightest butterscotch. The entry is almost too smooth, drinking like 88 proof, not 100. The spice rises to a 3 out of 10 before roasted peanut brittle comes in to lead the way to a dry oak finish that reveals the green apple again.
